My biggest disappointment is that life got in the way of my regular (clockwork-like) submissions to Alaska Qauarterly Review AFTER I received a hand written note (both sides of a notepad page) from the editors encouraging me to keep sending work. I think the last time I sent them anything was 2006-7.

I need to take the blinders off so I can write all different types of poems again, rather than the kind I need for my latest book project. That way I can get back into sending my poetry to places like AQR and finally man up.Justin Evanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12161484350184865575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3311201101178073119.post-59689507248640033702011-02-11T11:00:07.619-06:002011-02-11T11:00:07.619-06:00Oh, Molly, I hope your submission results in an ac...Oh, Molly, I hope your submission results in an acceptance! I definitely submit like a woman: just waited 7 months to re-submit to a journal that asked for more. Yes, I am guilty as charged for putting everything else first. I'll return to this post to remind myself to help turn the tide for myself and the world :).Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03597990526818589453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3311201101178073119.post-65840904408565591472011-02-11T10:58:24.894-06:002011-02-11T10:58:24.894-06:00Wow! I had submitted again immediately after being asked to send more work, and immediately two poems were taken.

Hmmm...!Kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06559881249054540947noreply@blogger.com
